"James delivered a fantastic show for our daughter Marcie's 5th birthday party in March 2011.  We had over 40 kids ranging from 2 to 11 and he kept them all mesmerized (and parents amused).  The kids loved the mix of magic and mayhem. 1.  The Really Spooky Magic Show (45 Minutes) £175

The Really Spooky Magic show is full of ghosts, ghouls and monsters.   Ideal for Halloween and children aged 5 years and upwards.

 

2.  Pirate Party (2 hours) £250

All aboard Captain Jims' Pirate Party with fun games and plenty of pirate shenanigans like Treasure hunt and much much more. Not to mention his magic show and ancient mystical artefacts he has found sailing the seven seas.

 

3.  Tattoo/Music Party (2 hours) £225

With older kids magic shows are just so not cool anymore!

Why not treat them to a temporary tattoo party. Each child (up to 25 in the party group) can have 3 tattoos applied whilst listening to the latest chart music playing in the background and boogie away to all the latest party dances to boot.

 
 
 
After School Parties

  More people are getting into after school parties as they are very easy to organise and free up your weekends to do whatever you like. Kids love having their party on the day of their birthday as it builds up the excitement of going to school or nursery that day.

4.  The Magic Party (45 Minutes) £150.00
 
(Only Available within a 10 mile radius of ML5 4TR)

  

This party is 45 minutes of Comedy Magic.  It is full of non stop comedy antics where James seems to get almost everything wrong but the kids always seem to help him get it right in the end. This style of childrens entertainment really works well for James as the helpers become the real stars of the show. Also included in the party is a free magic DVD for the party child to learn their own magic tricks (available to buy from my magic shop at £9.99).  I also supply 5 Balloon Models to use as prizes for my magical helpers. Additional balloons are available for £1.00 each when booking a party or £1.50 from the online magic shop.

 

5.  The Magic Party Deluxe (45 min) £200.00

 

The same party as above however your child will get a free magic set as welll as the magic DVD. You will also receive 15 balloon models. The deluxe party also comes with a great magic effect where a giant birthday card is magically coloured and given to the birthday child as a magical souvenir of their party.

 

 

 

6.  The Complete Party (2 Hours)  £225.00
 
(This is the most popular party)

  

This party breaks down into 45 minutes of musical games, dancing, singing and competitions for prizes. We also supply the birthday music and organise the kids to sing Happy Birthday for the birthday child. The game section is a greater filler at the start of the party as more often than not most people arrive late and get very disappointed if they miss the magic show. We include a 30 minute break for food/drinks and then onto the 45 minute Comedy Magic Show. All you have to do is feed the children and hand them their coats on the way out. This party is ideal for busy parents that want to sit down and enjoy the party and leave the hard work to the professionals. This show includes a free Magic DVD for the party child and 10 balloon models for prizes. 

 

 

7.  The Ultimate Party (3 Hours) £375.00

 (When only the best will do!!)

  

This party comes 'All singing and dancing' with a 'Twinkle Star' backdrop to give the show a real theater stage experience. **

 The party starts off with balloon modelling where James makes all your guests the coolest party hats known to man! Then it is time for some games and competitions, some of which come from James' holiday park family shows, such as balloon modelling competitions, the mummy maker and disco limbo. Also included are some of the more traditional party games like musical statues/bumps and pass the parcel (James supplies the parcel saving you the hassle!). The children then have a 30 minute food break after which 'Its Show Time' with The Amazing James' Comedy Magic Show (1hour).  The kids will be rolling about the floor with his hilarious antics and madcap comedy. After they get their breath back James will finish off with a mini disco. There will be cheesy dances that the kids love and some singing and dancing competitions. This party lasts a full 3 hrs and includes 20 party bags, a free magic DVD for the party child and their very own starter magic set. Additional bags are available for £1.50 each when booking a party or £2.50 from the online magic shop.  Balloon models can be purchased at £1.00 each as party favours. 

Please note the running order of the Ultimate Party can change to suit your needs or as James feels it would work best on the day.

8.  The Ultimate Communion Party (3 Hours) £425.00 

  

This party is similar to the 'Ultimate Party' but more emphasis is placed on entertaining the older children and adults too. This show does not come with the backdrops but does include more competitions and full on entertainment to appeal to young kids and Great Auntie Mable at the same time! This programme allows for musical breaks between entertainment activities to enable you to enjoy the buffet and some drinking time with your friends and family.  Some of the magic routines in the magic show come from James' stand up cabaret show and have some one liners that the adults will love and the kids won't understand. If there is specific music you would like played in the music breaks this can be arranged if enough notice is given. For more information on this really unique entertainment package please give James a call.

Wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for the fantastic entertainment at Megan and Olivia's First Communion party yesterday.  You totally captivated the children for 3 whole hours!    Not only did you entertain them but you were fantastic at managing them as well, which is no mean feat.   From all the parents - a big thank you ! 

 Your party games were really original and great entertainment for children and adults alike - even the members of my family who I thought would never participate in a million years, were in the middle of the floor joining in with great gusto!     What an amazing 3 hours of entertainment, from games, to balloon modelling to magic - not to mention the comedy one-liners!

 Everyone at the party commented on how much they enjoyed themselves - and that was mostly down to you.     You helped make the special day even more spectacular.    You will be the first thing I book when I'm organising any future parties!

 just a wee thank you from everyone young and old that were at my sons communion party . to let you know we were going to book a dj as per usual what you do at party's , but though its more for the kids than us adults so found you on the web and a bit sceptical decided to book you "for the kids" and james its was the best decision for that day as we thought you would just keep the kids happy but you grabbed all the adults attention as well ,  long after you went away and people went home and such , even the next day we were still talking about how good you were . i will not hesitate to call you again even for adult party's  as you are the type of person that can captivate peoples attention with your talent , will see you again cheers ,paul

 9.  The Perfect Party (3 Hours) £1,000

  

Now before you pass out having looked at the price of this party it does includes a finger buffet for up to 30 children along with the following - 
  •  We print and post the invitations
  • We decorate the venue with balloon bouqets
  • We tidy the venue at the end of the party

All you need to do is turn up. We look after the whole process. We also supply a large sponge birthday cake (costco make the best!). We include 30 party bags and a birthday gift that will be magically produced during the magic show. Another addition to allow you to enjoy yourself while the party is going on is the bottle of wine chilling on ice for your arrival.

Also thanks for "Rouffus" the rabbit, Eva quizzed me this morning at 4.20am ! on how did Rouffus manage to pop his head in & out of the book hiding from you, and then manage to get himself back into the other book ??......she said he must be real....obviously someone was paying plenty of attention !!

I have never seen a group of children interact so well together and it was lovely to see 26 children all laughing and enjoying the marvelous Show.

Thank you so much for the brilliant party.  Eilidh and all her friends had a super party.  I thought I'd made a huge mistake allowing Eilidh to talk me into inviting everyone in her class to her party but I needn't have worried - somehow you managed to keep all 34 children enthralled by your really funny magic show and keep their attention for the party games. I know it couldn't have been easy as some of the boys were particularly boisterous - but you made it look easy (I think you enjoyed the challenge).  It was certainly the easiest party I've ever organised as all had to do was provide the food and then sit back and enjoy the show.  I've already been asked by other parents for your number so I think you'll be back in Kirkintilloch before long.

Thanks for yesterday, we all had a fantastic day! The girls and their friends really enjoyed their party and I thought you did a great job of keeping so many children under control and entertained. Our only contribution was to hand out party bags at the end and that 5 minutes was less organised than your whole show what with all the twisted balloon strings - wont be doing that again!!!! I heard Bethany asking Rebecca this morning what the 'magic trick secrets' were that you had told her but she obviously wasn't for sharing! I'm sure they'll all be talking about it today at school...

Many thanks for entertaining the children at my daughter, Emily's 6th

birthday party on Saturday, everyone thoroughy enjoyed the time you had with us.

I was particularly impressed with the way you managed to get my shy daughter to take part with no inhibitions and help with your magic tricks and also how you coped with the "more disruptive children" in the party.

Emily has spent all weekend telling her friends and family that "James is coming to her party next year" so you may need to keep that date free in your diary.

My son went to his friend's fourth birthday party (Feb 08) and James was the entertainer. I was very impressed - he had the children enthralled for a full 45 minutes with an excellent mixture of slapstick 'messing it up' and real tricks. Both children and adults laughed a lot and it was a pleasure to watch the childrens' faces. He was extremely approachable and friendly to adults and children alike. The balloon sword which my son got at the end was a highlight for him. My son really enjoyed the show and so did I!
